Your power supply maybe busted, if you have another pc it not that difficult, you can open up the assy and removed the power supply to try and test it on the other pc affected, pls make sure of the connections and connectors, it is not that difficult

My Lexmark X5630 does not switch on, what can I do?

1 Press to turn the printer off. 2 Disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet. 3 Gently remove the power supply from the printer. 4 Reconnect the power supply to the printer. 5 Plug the power cord into the wall outlet. 6 Press to turn the printer on.
Make sure the cord on the back of the printer is pushed all the way into the socket, it should only fit one way. If that fails, check that there is power at the outlet you are using.

No power

If it is not getting any power at all, only one of three things: cord is fried/dead; could be the outlet, try something else in the same socket; or, the board in the printer is dead.
1. Press the POWER button to power on the printer The device has a <POWER> button.
Connect the power cord from the printer to the electrical source.
Press the <POWER> button.
Wait until the device has completed its cycling process before submitting a print request or completing installation.

2. Disconnect and Reconnect AC power adapter or power cord to the device and electrical source
  • Disconnect the AC Power Adapter or power cord from both the device and the electrical source.
  • Then reconnect it.
  • If you are still unable to obtain power to the device, try another power outlet.
  • If possible, try connecting power directly to a wall outlet (as opposed to using a surge protector or power strip...just as a troubleshooting measure).
3. Disconnect and reconnect the electrical cord to ensure a secure connection 4. The iP6000D may require repair

5. Try a different electrical source / outlet

this will surely fix your problem..

We had a power outage, now pixma Mx410 won't come on, any ideas?

Is pinter plugged into a power strip? Try plugging directly into wall. Make sure wall outlet is working correctly, try another item in plug in. Does printer have a power module or brick that is plugged into printer? That power module is there to protect your printer during a power surge, it may need to be reset. Is there a light on that brick or power module? If so, does it light up? If not, could be a bad power module. There is no such thing as "reset" button, so don't look there...It will have to be reset in a series of ways for an "external" module.
  1. Disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  2. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet, power strip, or surge protector.
  3. If the printer uses a power module with a detachable power cord, disconnect the cord from the power module.
  4. Wait 15 seconds.
  5. If the printer uses a power module with a detachable power cord, reconnect the power cord to the power module.
  6. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
  7. Plug the power cord directly into a wall outlet. Do not use a power strip or surge protector.
  8. Check to see if the power module or the power cord has an indicator light and if it is on
For an internal module:
  1. Disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  2. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet, power strip, or surge protector.
  3. Wait 15 seconds.
  4. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
  5. Plug the power cord directly into a wall outlet. Do not use a power strip or surge protector.
  6. Check to see if the power module has an indicator light.
Not sure if this will help you..but worth a try.....

I'm thinking the same as you, the power cord is the problem, try to find a friend with the same brand of computer to try, for exemple HP have on a lot of laptop the same power cord.

Won't turn on

If you do not have a volt meter, there are some things to try. The first couple of things sound silly at first, but we have to check it.

1. Plug something else in the outlet you use for your printer...verify the outlet has power. You probably use a surge protector (power strip) and we need to verify it has power.
2. Remove the power cord from the printer (if it is the type you can take out) and swap it with the power cord for the computer. A cord we know works! The cord may be loose where it connects to the printer...and snug in the wall.
3. If this fails to get the printer going, we'll need to take a look inside and make sure no fuse or overload switch is tripped or blown.

Good Luck!

Your issue is as follows;
"iI HAVE A DRYER 4PRONG POWER CORD \. HOUSE OUTLET THREE PRONG NEDD TO CHANGE POWER CORD.DRYER INSTRUCTION CONNECT 4 TERMMINAL.WHAT HAPPEN WHEN CONNECT THREEN TERMINAL."

A 3 prong cord should be wired as follows:

1. 1 end of cord connects to 1 outside terminal.
2. The other end of the cord connects to the remaiing outside terminal.
3. The center wire connects to the center terminal.
4. A separate ground wire should be attached from the dryer chassis, then to a metal cold water line, or an exterior grounding rod.

My book not recognized by windows

I had a similar problem that I just fixed. The drive was not being recognized at all - I unplugged, rebooted, switched to different computer, used different usb cable, plugged into wall outlet, NADA!

Then I tried something else - I just bought 2 more external hard drives and I switched the power port from the new one to the old one and the hard drive was recognized. I plugged the old outlet into the new hard drive and that worked, too. PHEW!

I had almost 100Gbs of music on there!
