Change user When I call someone the name that appears on their phone is still the name of the previous person that worked this desk. How do I change the name. I have changed my greeting.

It is probably not the greeting but the personal verification settings;

RECORD YOUR NAME (personal verification)
Log in to your mail box
Press 8, then 2, then 9
Press 5 to record
Say your first and last name at the tone
Press # to end recording
Recording will play automatically
To accept and exit press 4
To re-record press 5

1.click start menu 2.click control panel 3.click user account 4.click the formal owner username 5. you will see various options one of which is change username, then click 6.enter your desired username and click ok

Intercom #409 clears the message waiting. I am waiting to hear how to change the user name; last solution didn't work.

ill need to log into Manager and under that users tab, you can reset the password or delete the mailbox.

If you are using this phone on a Panasonic KX-TDA 30/100/200/600 system. From the Switcboard / Main telephone or Managers phone with the handset on the cradle/hook press Program * * or Program * # followed by the system password ( default is 1234). Now press 004 and then ENTER. Enter the extension number you want to change. Now enter the name (the same way as texting on a cellphone) To save the changes press AUTO DIAL / STORE. To go to the next extension press NEXT on the screen. When you are done lift the handset and put it down to exit program mode.

you must change the number by programing the PBX or phisicaly change the jack in the PBX.Both solutions must be done by authorized personal.check who is serviceing your pbx and make a request.

From an individual extension with a Display Phone:

1. Press [ Feature ] [ 0 ] [ 0 ]
2. Press [ Left Intercom ] one time. The display reads: Enter Name (If a name was previously assigned to this extension, it displays instead.)
3. Enter the two-digit code for each character you want to enter. (See Valid Entries below)
   For example, to enter the name Andy, press [ 2 ] [ 1 ] [ 6 ] [ 2 ] [ 3 ] [ 1 ] [ 9 ] [ 3 ] . The display reads: 12 ANDY
4. If you make a mistake, you can press [ Mic ] to clear the display. Repeat Step 3 to enter the correct name.
5. Press [ Feature ] [ 0 ] [ 0 ] to exit programming mode.

Valid Entires:
Letters A-Z, numbers 0-9, and blank spaces.
