Note: The pigment black ink will only be used when printing on plain paper.

  4. De-Select the box for 'Grayscale Printing'.

    win_main_grayscale_print.jpg

Note: If either 'Borderless Printing' or 'Duplex Printing' are enabled from the Page Setup tab, grayscale will be created using a combination of the color (dye) inks to prevent smearing.

  5. Click 'OK' to save the changes.

The printer will now only use the pigment black ink tank.

Why won't it crank over?

Sounds like the starter. The faint click would be the starter solenoid, trying to operate starter. Have it tested.

Printer won't print in color, no matter what i try.

Did you try setting the color printing in printer properties.
If you have XP;
Open 'Printers and faxes'.
Right-click your printer and select 'Properties'.
Click 'Advanced' tab.
Click 'Printing Defaults' button close to bottom.
Select 'Paper/Quality' tab.

Select 'Color' option.
Click OK until all dialog boxes are closed.

My HP CP2025 printer will not print color text and color shading in Word. It prints color photos, pdfs, and paintbrush files, but will not print color in Word or Word Perfect.

I had this problem on Windows 7 64x.

The solution that finally worked for me:
1. Go to your Devices & Printers window. (from the Start menu)
2. Right-click on your HP CP2025 printer and select Printer Properties.
3. Select the Device Settings tab.
4. Scroll to the bottom where you see Device Type. It probably says "Auto Detect."
5. Click on the words "Auto Detect" to activate a drop-down menu. Select "Color". Click the Apply button.

To test if this fixes your color printing, go to the General tab and click the Print Test Page button at the bottom. The page should print the Windows logo in color at the top of the page (the rest of the page is b&w).

Note: I did not install any additional drivers from HP for this printer. Windows automatically detected it and installed HP's Universal Print Driver PCL 6.

Kudos to Ken from the HP forums for this knowledge: http://h30499.www3.hp.com/t5/Printers-LaserJet/CP2025-Won-t-Print-in-Color/td-p/1151762

Toshiba Color TV Relay clicks slowly. TV does not come ON.

Electrolitic Capasitors in the power supply going or being bad will cause this. At some point a low value resister also will start to run hot or burn up. I believe it it a 16v 1500 uf cap near the relay. I would also replace any 10uf 160v caps in the powersupply too.
Hope this Helps,

Won't run. Can hear clicks when changing settings, but won't run when push start button.

Check the door switch for continuity.
Remove the rear panel and check the thermal fuse attached to the exhaust vent on the lower left side. It is 1 and 1/2 inches long by 1/2 inch wide and white in color.
If it is blown you must correct the air flow problem also.
