I tried to connect my wii remotes this morning and I am not getting the little hand. I tried changing the battery packs but that did not work. I even unplugged the Wii for about 5 minutes and that did not help either.

Ok well there is a little compartment on the face of the wii that you have to open and it should reveal a red button which will set the wii to pick up any signals from a wiimote but to get the signal from the wiimote you need to open the compartment where the batteries go and there should be another red button you have to press and hold both the buttons at the same time and they should pick up each others signals.

SOURCE: WII controller is working in reverse

replace the batteries and go the the Wii options and set the sensitivity again (when it asks you if you see two blinking dots) as well as the center of the screen. Turn off the Wii (to red light, not yellow standby) and make sure you are directly in front of the TV. Repeat this process several times. (minus battery changes) and it has been working perfectly since.

You can also "spank" your wii mote, turn it over in one hand so the battery back is up toward the ceiling, and strike it hard on top of the battery back with palm of your other hand, for some reason this has worked for many people, either causing something inside to reset or "unstick" itself.

SOURCE: Wii controller. Hand cursor not showing

Take your cell phone and switch on the camera as if you would take a picture, now aim it at the far right or far left of the sensor bar. You should see 4 led light up on either side. If you see them your sensor bar is ok so check your batteries.

On my wii remote at the bottom of the remote belong 1&2 them lights all flashing and it will not pick up we change the batties still not working can you help me..

  1. Press the Power button on the Wii console to turn it on.
  2. Remove the battery cover on the back of the Wii Remote you wish to sync up, and press the SYNC button just below the batteries. The Player LED will blink.
  3. Open the SD Card Slot cover on the front of the Wii console and press the SYNC button on the inside of the compartment.
  4. When the Player LED blinking stops, the syncing is complete. The LED that is illuminated indicates the player number (1 to 4).

This procedure must be followed for each additional Wii Remote added to your system.

The mario kartwon't turn, it will go staight or backwards I pushed the red button and no change. what next?

Are you holding the controller in your hand sideways?Directional on one side and 1 and 2 buttons on the other? If you are,you just need to kind of turn the controller like a wheel with both hands. If you did that and it still doesn't work let me know.If you pushed the red button is that the one in the battery compartment? If you need to resync, you point the controller at the sensor bar with a game on and press and hold the red button inside the large door on the console. You may need to try it a couple times.
Good luck!

No signal from hand controller to console

You probably need to sync your Wii-mote to your Wii. Open the battery compartment on the remote and the SD card door on the front of your Wii. Press the red SYNC button on your Wii and then on the controller. You know it is synced when a solid LED light is shining at the bottom of the Wii-mote.

Wii mario kart, second wheel won't turn

I tried resyncing from the main screen, but one of the wiimotes still didn't work. I read to smack the wiimote facedown in your hand a couple of times, and that worked!!!

Apparently the motion sensor can get stuck inside, although it doesn't totally make sense, because previously when the wiimote didn't steer, it still moved on the screen to choose character, car, etc.

Wii controller

you probably have to sinc it. If you don't know how to you open the tab that is on the front of the wii and open the back part of the wii controller where the batteries go and you will find a sinc button wich when you press will autumatically record the ip adress of your controller for future use. If this is not what it might be try changing the batteries on the controller. If its neither then you might have to return it to see if you can get one that works. Good Luck!
