It's probably the settings to blame if you get bad pictures even in bright sunlight (ur cam has a max resolution of 10m.pixels which accounts for very good quality pictures) . You should get accustomed with the settings of your cam if you want to get good results with it. Playing around with the settings without *any* fear will help you with that. but before you start fiddling, Follow these steps to make sure you don't run into any trouble:

First of all, find the setting that goes 'restore factory defaults' or 'reset' or similar. with this, you can 'reset the settings back to how they were when you bought the cam' if you mess up anything.
If you already have any important pictures in the cam, move them to your computer just in case you delete them by mistake.

Try adjusting the Contrast on the on screen menu because it sounds like either the exposire is set too high or if your pictures come out OK when you play them on a computer the contrast is too high.

Please select the appropriate shooting mode depending on the light(day night, interior or outside), select the highest resolution, remove all additional features if they were set to ON MODE. If confused with settings RESET the camera to factory settings. it should work properly.

There is no way to shut this off.
When you take several pictures in a row, they go through a buffer before going to the card. Memory cards can only be written to at a certain speed, so the images stay in the buffer as the images transfer.
The buffer only holds so many pictures, usually around 10, and then you need to wait for it to finish writing the images to the memory card - clearing the buffer - and allowing you to take more pictures.
You can try purchasing a memory card that is of a higher speed, but the difference will be marginal.

Pictures are blurred around the edges

Have you tried to change the settings like to scenery or adjusted for lighting that could have an effect. The only time it's blurry for me is when I don't adjust for the picture I am taking. The camera itself focuses so maybe there hasn't been enough time for it to focus. Try those things and if it doesn't work I would take it in to a camera shop maybe it has internal problems.

try having other people take a picture with your phone, if they can take a more clear picture, it is likely that you are just a little shaky when taking pictures (i have the same problem)
