Remote control problems
The power button and the arrow keys, up & down, don't work on my VWM-700 Sanyo VCR remote. I took the remote apart and cleaned the interior, including the battery contacts, but it still won't work correctly. Can you help???

I would love to say we can help, but the truth is, you remote needs to be replaced. One of the advantages to have the remote is that you wear out the remote, not the controls on the tv. And replacing a remote is much cheaper. You have done all you can to save this remote. You will need to replace it.
