Here's the Asus site for finding and downloading drivers and software:
You need to enter your product info:
Procuck = motherboard
Series = Socket 478model = p4p800-mx
At this point a popup window will come up and ask you what operating system are you using, enter it from the list and continue (note that this list only goes up to windows xp). At this point you will be giving the list of all the drivers for your motherboard. search for the audio driver, download and install!!
Hope this helps!!
Here is a link to your audio driver. When you open the web page. At the first drop down box choose Motherboards At the second drop down box choose Socket 478 At the last drop down box choose P4BGL-VM , then click on Search. A window will open asking to choose operating system. The last window will show all the drivers for this motherboard. Choose audio and download it.
First of all you have to know that Microsoft, after its blooper, feels hurt and they want to regain their image of before. They have always demanded all kinds of information. It seems to me that if you go to Vista, division of Microsoft, you may be able to get what you need faster. For us to go to any manufacturer, we need to him the Name of the Computer, the model number and the MB ID. Even though you probably know where to look, let me mention to you where. The ID of the mother board is in between the white PCI sockets, the lettering is very profound and you can't miss it. If it is not there, you will find it around the upper right corner of the MB, around the RAM memory sockets. Thank you for your consideration of our service...
