F30 code fault means the temperature probe has an open circuit. It could be the probe or control board but probably not. There is two thermal overload switches in this circuit which may be tripped. One is located in back of range and the other is located in the front near right burner knob. Find these two switches and mash red button on them to see if it clicks and resets. Dana

My frigidaire does not heat consistently. F10 fault goes off if it's on for a couple of hours or if we broil. F10 also goes off after cleaning during cool down. F30 goes off after oven is turned off. ...

Good Morning Irene, thank you for allowing me to assist you!

The F10 and F30 error codes are in regards to an open or failed oven sensor. If the sensor and EOC has been replaced, more than likely a professional would need to inspect the wiring harness between the EOC and sensor.

Best regards!

When I push the Bake or Broil buttons on my kenmore stove it beeps F30. I do not have a self cleaning oven. The gas burners work fine so I know we have a clear line. What can I do?

Log on to the Kenmore website and click on support. Enter your model number and go to troubleshooting. There you should find what your trouble code means. murf427

Kenmore model #790-9642440A and getting a F30 alert.

The F30 error code will flash when the dispenser motor cannot be driven to its proper position.
* It could have a mechanical failure in the linkage between the dispenser motor and the top of the dispenser.
* Loose wire connection between the machine control board and the dispenser motor
* Failed dispenser motor
Thanks

Oven doesn't work. Display F30 code. Gas Range model: 790-78579405. First time usage for oven. All stove burners does work. Some blogs mentioned "reset" red buttom but couldn't find it from the back metal...

Part of the model number 790 says, that the range is made by Fridgidaire. F30 means the sensor is bad and/or main board. There is no red button. You can find you part here: www3.sears.com

I have a professional series frigidaire stove and it keeps showing an error code of F30. What does this mean?

Hi here is the meaning of the F30 error code. If you have any other questions please feel free to comment. Mike

F30
F31
Open probe connection.
Shorted Probe connection.
1. (F30 or F31) Check resistance at room temperature & compare to *RTD Sensor resistance chart. If resistance does not match the RTD chart replace RTD Sensor Probe. Check Sensor wiring harness between EOC & Sensor Probe connector.
2. (F30 or F31) Check resistance at room temperature, if less than 500 ohms, replace *RTD Sensor Probe. Check for shorted Sensor Probe harness between EOC & Probe connector.

Our figidaire electronic stove/oven model PLES399ECD, serial number NF62311528, mfg'd 2/2006 has an error code for F30 when any program is selected. The manual does not list F30, what is F30?

Open (F30) or shorted (F31) RTD sensor
probe/ wiring problem. Note: EOC may
initially display an "F10", thinking a
runaway condition exists.

1- Press Cancel key.
2- Check wiring in probe circuit for possible short or open
condition. Check RTD resistance at room temperature
(compare to probe resistance chart). If resistance does not
match the chart, replace the RTD sensor probe. Let the oven
cool down and restart the function.
3- If the problem persists replace the relay board.
