Verify that the paper being used is the correct thermal paper and not inkjet 4 x 6. The correct paper should have Kodak XTRALIFE Paper printed on the back side.

Try the troubleshooting steps below and see if it can resolve your issue:

1. Remove the camera from the printer dock.
2. Print a test page. Press and hold the Print and Transfer buttons at the same time until printing begins (5 to 10 seconds), then release the buttons..

Note: If the printer dock prints a test page, please check and delete any corrupted images on the camera.

3. If it thus,

a. Remove the paper tray.
b. Use a lint-free cloth dampened with water and gently wipe the feed rollers to remove any debris build-up.

Note: The feed roller(s) are gray and are located inside the front of the printer dock.

c. Check for water build-up.
d. Reinsert the paper tray to print.
e. When you select to print a self-test page, check that the paper tray lift plate lifts the paper to align with the feed rollers, so the top sheet comes in contact with the feed roller(s).

If the problem continues, please do

1. Remove the paper.

IMPORTANT: Lift the paper by the edges; do not get fingerprints on the coated side.

2. Check that the paper is printer dock paper.

* The words "Kodak Picture Maker Paper" or "Kodak XTRALIFE Paper" should be printed on the back side of the paper.

* Inkjet paper will not work in the printer.

3. Carefully:
a. Fan the paper to remove any static electricity.
b. Insert only 10 to 15 sheets of the paper into the paper tray.
c. Install the paper tray into the printer dock.

4. Make a print.

It keeps saying paper jam why? it is not jammed/

Paper jams are reported under two conditions.

1) Paper reaches a sensor and never leaves it.

2) Paper does not reach the sensor in the time allotted.

A simple test is to put a mark on the next page that should be pulled from the paper tray. If the paper is pulled from the tray, you will find it inside the printer. If the paper fails to feed, it will be sitting in the tray where you marked it.

I have an Easy Share printer dock series 3 that has paper loaded

To prevent misfeeds and to make sure your pictures look their best, we recommend that you keep the feed roller clean. IMPORTANT: Unplug the power before cleaning the feed rollers.
  1. Unplug the AC power cord from the power outlet.
  2. Remove the paper tray from the printer, and leave the paper tray door open. IMPORTANT: Do not use cotton or cotton swabs to clean the feed roller.
  3. Lightly moisten a lint-free cloth with water.
  4. Use the moistened cloth to gently wipe clean the surface of the feed roller. Advance the feed roller with your thumb as necessary, and continue cleaning.
  5. Let the feed roller dry fully before plugging the AC power cord back into the power outlet.
  6. Insert the paper tray into the printer, then press the Print button to resume printing.
If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe
