How do I set the date and time on my Tracfone LG420G cellphone?

It is not recomended to change battery . if any mistake happened it may burst or damage your phone because charging time, circuit range etc differ

Typically, if any phone also uses a USB charger for using a laptop of desktop PC, then it's no problem as long as the charger adapter fits the phones. (USB ports are standardized at 5 VDC output, so anything of 6 VDC and less will work just fine. A lower voltage will take longer for your phone to charge. DO NOT GO OVER 6VDC for phones that accept a USB charger adapter from a PC.

Or your phone isn't capable of texting internationally.If it's supposed to then you need to call Tracfone customer service and tell them.

What make and model phone? With many of the phones Tracfone supports, the date and time are set when the phone receives a call. If you don't mind blowing off a minute of air time, try calling your cell phone from another phone.

This is what I did to set time on lg420g:
-turn off phone
-remove battery for a little while
-put in battery and turn on.

You can't set the time manually in any settings.
It does it automatically.
