Green light is on my sons Ds but I haven picture r sound he dropped it

This is a common problem, I recommend that you do a reset. You need to unscrew that back holder for the battery and take it out. Leave it out for about 8 minutes, and place it back in. This will reset the device and should solve the problem. Good luck!

I had that issue also.
I opened the DS, and I saw that a connector was not attached to the mainboard. I connected it, and the problem was solved.

Be careful opening the DS.

um, if this was fixed, the only thing they would keep WOULD be the light, probably not even. no, just buy a used one from places like Amazon, Craigslist, refurb shops, etc.

The alarm is just a coincidence i suspect, green light comes on and stays on probably not the battery at fault. It would be red.
If the green light goes out and screens just flash one of your screens are at fault or a loose ribbon connection.

The DS lite is easily broken when it is dropped keep trying it or ask for a repair where u bought the ds

yes it is fixable sounds like your fault is with the top screen are the hinges ok has it been dropped.

most green light and screen flashes point to a defective screen or connection on the mother board or sometimes fuses. id start with checking the motherboard connection if its ok check the fuses if all is ok buy a new top screen and replace it.

Was the DS dropped? Sounds like the top screen ribbon has become disconnected from the motherboard, or is broke. You may have to replace the top lcd screen.
