You haven't mentioned the brand of your radio, so it is hard to tell you. But in most cases, blue with white strip is commonly used for remote to hook up amps. If possible look for ignition wire in you radio, which is mostly red, connect together and hook up.

KDC-BT310U deck trying to hook up an amplifier and cant find the remote wire

The remote wire that comes from the radio is "blue". It originally had a sticker on it that said "p.ant/rem"(if memory serves me correctly) That wire sends a 12v signal to the amplifier to let it know that it's time to rock!

What do I connect the remote wire on my kenwood ksc-sw910

are you hooking up an aftermarket amplifier?the remote turn on wire is your blue with white trace.if you are not hooking up an aftermarket amplifier, you typically will not need it. what kind of car are you putting it into?some vehicles with a factory amplifier will require this wire to be connected to turn the amp on so you have sound. try not connecting it, and if you have sound, youre fine. if not, let me know what kind of car you have

I have a kenwood stereo for 2000 saab 9-5. the tuner works but whenever i change it to cd you can no longer hear any music. it must be the wiring but i dont know which color wire is connected for the cd...

It sounds you are using an amplifier and using the blue wire (power antenna remote turn on) instead of the blue/white wire (amplifier remote turn on). Try hooking up the blue/white wire to turn your amp on. When leaving tuner mode, the blue wire shuts off, turning off the amplifier.

I need to know which wire to connect the remote wire from my amplifier to on the wire harness. I hooked it up to the yellow which said switched 12V+ but its the constant.

On Aftermarket Radio :

Yellow = Constant 12Volt
Red = Accessory 12 Bolt ( Key ON or on Accessory )
Black = Ground
Blue = Remote Wire for Amplifier
Orange = Dimmer Light

So you need to Route the Blue Wire to your Amplifier, if you connect the remote wire from the amplifier to your yellow one.. it should work but your sound system will Stay On all the time and eat up the juice of your battery.. !

I dont know how to setup my amplifier to MP3 Stereo...

Just like any other stereo. Get a wire harness for your car and match the wire colors together, tape them or cap them, or best yet soder them. Then run rca cables from the output in the back of the stereo to the amp. The run a remote wire (bue with white stripe) from the stereo to the amp remote terminal. Hook up the amp normal. let me know.

try unhooking the remote wire and running a small wire from the remote wire hook up directly to the power hook up on the amp if it works then you need to install the remote wire in a different location ......

I have a 2007 chevy silverado classic an i dont

Buy the aftermarket harness for it. Within the harness there should be a wire that says power ant or remote. Splice a wire to that and run it back to your remote turn on.

Auto amplifier installation

Does the new deck have a blue wire for remote and a blue/white wire also? The blue one is for a power antenna and shuts of when playing discs or axillary inputs. The blue/white is for power amplifiers and stays on when the deck is on. Also be sure the remote wire that goes to the amp is not pinched and grounded out to the frame of the car. Let me know, and be sure to leave feedback or I don't get paid.
