hi!

if that's the cae, try reseating the LCD cable. You can do it by following the manual. Here's the link:

http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/lat120l/en/sm/display.htm#wp1132897

Try to do that and if that won't work, then probably the backlight might be busted and you have to replace the whole LCD.
