Question about IBM ThinkPad T43 Notebook
Hello I got A IBM laptop with the ATI x300 Video Card.
When i turn my laptop on The display's stay's black. No sounfd at all. The hard disk and dvd drive areinitialised But then nothing happens. On the TFT panel or the external screen. If i remove the memeory the screen stay's also black but the system give the beep code for memory problem.
Please can someone help me
This is most likely going to be a failed system board component. If it were the screen or video card you would still hear Windows starting up. However, let's try a few simple things that could cause this in order to rule them out. First, take the battery out and start with the supply only. Then remove the memory and try them one at a time in both slots. If it's still not working, then this will be a board component, and this problem can be very hard to track down, so I suggest taking it to a shop for diagnosing.

If you are having problems with your video card
the drivers might not be installed correctly you might
have to uninstall the graphics card restart your computer then reinstall the
graphics card and its drivers
If your computer
came with a motherboard disc the drivers could be on it
Click start control
panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to display
adapters + to expand you might see a yellow question mark ? or exclamation mark
! or a red x right click select reinstall drivers or
you might need to
