Make sure that your computer has the correct driver for this printer because windows operating system can install a generic driver for your printer, better update the printer driver..

How do i get the Win7 driver for Hp deskjet 1220c printer

Hi
HP doesn't support your device under Windows 7 . Install a Virtual version of XP on your machine :

or purchase a Windows 7 compatible replacement device .

I have installed HP 1220c printer on windows 7 in several ways. Printer seems istalled OK, when I try to print test page or other, the printer doesn't react. Although the print appears and dissapears...

Unistall any previous you have installed for your device.

The Driver for Your Product Is Included in the Windows 7 Operating System (i.e. Win 7-32bit & 64bit).
Simply connect the printer to your computer with a USB cable, and Windows Update automatically installs the driver for your product.

Hope it helps.

Install hp 1220c on windows 7

Hello,

See: HP DeskJet 1220c Drivers

However, HP says that this printer driver is in the Windows 7 OS. Try doing a Windows update.

Here is HP's Windows 7 information page:

Hello I have no custom paper size option in my printer properties OS : windows 7 32bit Printer: HP deskjet 1220C

I would suggest you to uninstall the currently installed Hp Software and printer's driver from your computer and reinstall them. This should fix the issue if there's no problem with your computer like virus or system corrupt etc... Let me know if the problem persists.

Note: Don't forget to restart your computer before you reinstall the programs after it's/they are uninstalled.

Good luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.

Hp 1220c window xp driver

i updated my driver for my hp1220C on XP after a crash that stopped the valuable print preview function working ...(printer worked but was print immediate - -and no tool box options etc) . i can't believe i found how to fix the driver ... you need to right click the exe file [before running it] dj1074en.exe or whatever ... and 'properties' - 'compatibility' click near 'compatibility mode' 'windows 2000' - then run it ... and voila -- i now have the print preview and all the lovely functions back again!!!! crazy!! took me 3 hours to find this ... it may well work with vista -- to select the windows 2000 option .. don't know that one ... at least until HP update all corectly and clearly
