Power supply was cut

you can buy a new power cord or you can use another wire to replace the cord. just buy the same size then you will need to remove the rear cover to access the internal. and then the old cord must be removed from the ac terminal pin and the assembled wire with plug that you buy can be replaced. you can directly re soldered the end of the ac wire at the pcb for ac supply.

Tv keeps turning off on it's own, is at home repair possible, and how to do it?

The power supply will need to be replaced. This is the box that connects to the plug-in wire.
If you can get a soldering Iron, then you can solder off the old joints, find the number written on the power supply and Go to
Philips
.PartStore.com
or
www.MCMElectronics.com
or
stores.shop.ebay.com/LCDPAYLESS__W0QQ_armrsZ1QQ_fsubZ3123744
($30)
or more if you google philips magnavox power supply.

MARK ALL WIRES WITH COLORED TAPE SO YOU KNOW WHICH ONES WENT WHERE!
Then simply resolder new joints and wires.

I need part #31350170601 for model #43p8341 philips 43" tv

Apparently the original part you need is obsolete. Through a lot of research, I've found a substitute at www.partstore.com They list this part as a PCB keyboard and list your model television as a match for this part. Here is the direct link to the part. They also have a toll free phone number if you want to discuss the part b/4 you buy. 1-866-925-PART (7278) Best of luck to you on your repair!

Tv powers on then ''clicks'' off

After the lights on the front of the tv settle down, push and hold the menu and input (or deivice) buttons for 5 seconds. Now count the number of times the LED blinks and follow these instructions.
Cause #1 1. Self-diagnosis error 4-4, check for proper seating of the DVI cable between the FMT PCB and the DMD (Light Engine). It may be necessary to disconnect and reconnect this cable to insure proper connection. 2. Self-diagnosis error 4-4, check for 3.3 volts DC at connector J-9 pin 8 on the Engine Driver PCB, if missing check F9A06 part # 283P128050 on the Power PCB if this is open suspect the 3.3v regulator circuit on the Power PCB part # 930B921002 3. Self-diagnosis error 4-4, check for 3.3 volts DC at connector J-9 pin 8 on the Engine Driver PCB, if missing check F9A07 part # 283P128050 on the Power PCB, if open suspect it to have been opened by the Light Engine part # 939P977020 4. Self-diagnosis error 4-4, if the 3.3 volt supply at J-9 pin 8 is good and the connection on the DVI cable between the FMT PCB and DMD are secure, suspect the Light Engine part # 939P977020 5. Self-diagnosis error 4-1, suspect the Power PCB part # 930B921002

I need the electrical diagrams to repair my rear projector model 55PW9383/17F Chassis DPTV340. Failure: no power on

You prob do not need a diagram to figure out this problem. If it powers on, then powers right back off again, then you could have a serious horizontal transistor short. If the TV is just dead period, you can try to replace all the large capacitors around the power supply area. A bulging top or leaking around the bottom are nice features to identify problem caps.

New Lamp turning off after 5 seconds

1. (Lamp may light and go out) suspect bad lamp part # 915P020010 2. Check for 12-volts DC at J-9 connector pin 4 on the Engine Driver PCB, if missing check for an open F9A09 on the Power PCB, if it is open replace F9A09 part # 283P127060 and the Light Engine part # 939P977010 3. (Lamp may light and go out) Check for 5-volts DC at J-9 connector pin 1 and 2 on the Engine Driver PCB if low or missing check C9A37 and C9A38 both 3300 UFD 10 V part # 181P732040 on the Power PCB (part # 930B921002) 4. At power on the lamp turns on and off three times and then the unit shuts down with a red lamp LED (lamp error). Replace the Light Engine part # 939P977010 5. Lamp enable line at J14 pin 6 does not switch to 5 volts after turn on, 12 and 5 volt supplies are good. Suspect the Light Engine part # 939P977010 6. Lamp enable line at connector J14 pin 6 on the Engine Driver PCB switches to 5 volts after turn on and does go to 0-volts (low) after 5 seconds, 12 and 5 volt supplies are good. Suspect the Lamp Power PCB (ballast) part # 939P978010 7. Lamp enable line at connector J14 pin 6 on the Engine Driver PCB switches to 5 volts after turn on but does not go back to 0-volts (low) after 5 seconds, 12 and 5 volt supplies are good.
