Can't print power is on but all functions just seem not working at all

Plz replace the logic board & check the printer.

Theck the printer status at the control panel. Confirm if the drivers really exist by checking its properties.. uninstall the printerb drivers and reistall again from scratch. Check for Diagonstic toools from hp.com

Hello, friend


please remove all printer drivers in control panel

and reconnect printer cable

system will detect new hardware , install printer driver

systen not detect any hardware device please check printer cable

IF it is ok try to reinstall the printer driver

Is this connected with a usb cable? did you try checking the printer status under control panel? try to download a HP Printing Diagnostic utility from hp.com.

My printer, HP 8500, has been trying to delete a document for hours with no apparent results. I am unable to print anything else although it does put a new document in queue. I do not get any error...


There are 2 simple methods to resolve any print job stuck in queue issue. However, both the methods will not fix printing issue if the HP Printer is in Error mode. Make sure your printer is able to print self test page to prove its functionality,

First method.

This Utility program resolve all the printing issue for HP Printers Only ( Network and USB connection )

This Utility will Resolve :

1. Check Connectivity between the Pc/laptop and HP Printer
2. Check if there any Documents stuck in Queue
3. Check if all the software/Drivers are correctly Installed
4. Check if the HP Printer icon is the default icon to print
5. Will Resolve Printer Spooler Issue and few more issue

Download the file on Desktop and Run the program ( Ex. File name = HPPDU.EXE )

Click Here to download the Utility and save on Desktop location
Run the HPPDU file and follow the instruction on screen to fix.

If this does not fix, try the 2nd Method given below ( this is manual process to clear the print job stuck in queue )

This works for all brands of printers ( HP, Canon, Epson, Brother etc )

Click Start > Programs > Accessories > then select Command prompt, then the black window will open and there type NET STOP SPOOLER and hit enter that will confirm service is stopped , after that on the black window type NET START SPOOLER and hit enter. Repeat this step 3-4 times and end the command with NET START SPOOLER and hit enter. Open the Printers folder and Refresh the Window ( Press F5 on the keyboard )

The service will be started and all print queue should already be remove.

// Above given solutions help in resolving print queue issue, however check the printer functionality if it is working fine ( the printer should be in working condition and should be able to print self test page, this utility cannot fix printer hardware issue //

1) With the printer power turned off, while pressing the Resume/Cancel button, press and hold the Power button. (DO NOT release the buttons. The Power LED lights in green to indicate that a function is selectable.)
2) While holding the Power button, release the Resume/Cancel button. (DO NOT release the Power button.)
3) While holding the Power button, press the Resume/Cancel button 2 times, and then release both the Power and Resume/Cancel buttons. (Each time the Resume/Cancel button is pressed, the Alarm and Power LEDs light
alternately, Alarm in orange and Power in green, starting with Alarm LED.)
4) When the Power LED lights in green, press the Resume/Cancel button the specified number of time(s) according to the function listed in the table below. (Each time the Resume/Cancel button is pressed, the Alarm and
Power LEDs light alternately, Alarm in orange and Power in green, starting with Alarm LED.) [hth: I believe the power button has to be pressed once more after cycling the alarm button to complete the action. The power/resume-cancel button LEDs toggle to help you count.]

On my Canon i950, when the printer starts to print the paper is sucked in by a rotating motor, but it seems like that motor is spinning too fast that it causes the paper to go sideways, crinkle, and jam....


Ok you can only try it could work

Start with the printer OFF

1. Hold down RESUME and then hold down POWER
2. Release RESUME
3. Press RESUME twice, then release POWER
4. Let green light blink until printer is done futzing

Select function with RESUME press POWER to execute:
presses - light color - function

Number of presses - light color - function
0 presses - green - Test print (or exit service mode on i960)
1 press - orange - EEPROM info print (plus grid nozzle diagnostic on i950)
2 presses - green - EEPROM initialize
3 presses - orange - Reset waste ink counter

HP 7410 has power, screen is lit, but power button is not. None of the functions (print, copy, scan, etc. will work. Any ideas?


Seems like something a lot of us are experiencing. I have the exact same problem. Has anyone found a solution?

Ink absorber is full and need to reset

How di I reset the ink counter on a canon mp620?


I found this at fixyourownprinter.com. Seems it works on most mp models and may work on your 620.

My canon i950 waste ink absorber is almost full


1. Start with the printer OFF

My printer hp photosmart c4180 all in one doesnt print properly, every time i swich it on it says the cable printer connected to this computer has malfunction than when i change the cable to another usb...


my printer hp psc 2355 all in one doesnt function at all even it is plugged. i checked the plug it has power saw light but when i put the power on for the printer to start its not working what seems to be the problem. been using this for 4 years never had problem with it just it snot having its own power even if **** plugged properly.

Printer won't print


If the ink is too low the head cleaning won't work. Also, I have had to do the cleaning functions several times for it to work. Will it print a test page? Look in to reinstalling a print driver.
