my camera an olympus stylus 700 all-weather 7.1 megapixel, isn't turning on. When the on button is pressed the zoom comes out/in/out making a grinding sound, the screen shows a none focused image until a bright blue screen is displayed with

showing.....please help.

did you happen to drop it in sand or on a hard surface. by the description of the problem it shows that the movement of the lense assembly is not proper.i.e. it is having friction in the movement.Needs to get it repaired.

If the camera is still under warranty then return it.
If it is out of warranty then replace it
There is not a likely repair option
Though Olympus Customer support may advise another remedy
