my camera an olympus stylus 700 all-weather 7.1 megapixel, isn't turning on. When the on button is pressed the zoom comes out/in/out making a grinding sound, the screen shows a none focused image until a bright blue screen is displayed with D: 5eO2
did you happen to drop it in sand or on a hard surface. by the description of the problem it shows that the movement of the lense assembly is not proper.i.e. it is having friction in the movement.Needs to get it repaired.
If the camera is still under warranty then return it. If it is out of warranty then replace it There is not a likely repair option Though Olympus Customer support may advise another remedy

We have a Panasonic PV GS-300 video camera. The camera said we need to clean the heads and started recording blue lines across the images we recorded. We cleaned the heads with a tape purchased at best buy, but the blue lines are still on the recordings. When we record new footage, the same blue lines are recorded over the footage. We have also hit the reset button. Can you help us please?
