Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I backed up my pc using lenovo rescue. then lenovo recovery. how do i find my backed up files pictures. and documents stored on excel starter in my start programs . can you help

I hope you followed the instructions given by Lenovo:
  1. To archive your backups, complete the following procedure:
    • From the Rescue and Recovery main screen, click Backup, and then select Copy backups from hard drive from the drop-down list.
    • Select the medium you want to save your backup files to by clicking the appropriate radio button. The backup files that will be copied are listed on the user interface.
    • Click OK to continue
Rescue and Recovery 4 52 by Lenovo

I have never been a fan of automated back up systems, and well, as far as I know these systems never back up software in that process, just the Operating system and the personal files.
I always keep important files on a external drive, or USB

How do I load information onto the flash drive from my desk top computer?

Plug the flash drive into a USB port. Usually it will take a minute or two to load drivers, and will show up in "My Computer" as an additional hard drive (Maybe E: or F:, or some other letter depending on what drives you may already have). Doubleclick on the drive letter to open the folder and drag documents from folders on your PC to this folder. Or you can save documents directly to the flash drive once it's mounted, by navigating to that sam edrive letter in the "Save As.." dialog box.

I dont know how to save a writing piece from the word pad onto the lexar firefly

Open Wordpad, click File-->Save As; type in your desired name for the file and click the pull down arrow near "Save in:". Select the appropriate Drive (G/D,E or whatever) that is your Firefly. Click save. The file should now be saved as a Rich Text Formatted document on your Firefly. You can save it as a Text Document as well under the "Save as type:" option. Good Luck!

I want to transfer a typed page from Windows office to usb flash drive thanks

you have to save the typed page as a document. These are usually saved to "My Documents" but you can go to "File" and then click on "save as" and it will bring up a window. The default location is in "My Documents" in the top part of the window. Click the drop down box and choose your flash drive instead. Give the document a name if it doesn't already have one and hit the save key.

My PC could not save file in my flash drive where as folder can.

Maybe the root of the USB drive is protected. If you got any switch for write protection in the USB drive, unlock it and try saving.

Thank you!

Try saving the document to your hard drive, and then drag that file onto your flash drive. If this doesn't do the trick, your drive might be locked

Xerox Documate 152 file conversion issues

Try saving the file on your desktop first, and see if it converts and saves correctly. Next, make sure that your external harddrive is detected correctly and visible under My Computer.

You could also try reinstalling the software and drivers. Try this first and let me know how it goes..

Micro 8GB cruzer

Hi,
Save all your files on your computer before doing this.
Uninstall U3 from settings on launchpad.
Format your USB. Do not Quick format.
Reinstall U3: http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/Default.aspx?CatID=1411 (only works with Sandisk)
Drag your files into the USB. No more problems!
If anymore problems, reply!
Hope this helps!
