My sta-rite SR333 heater will not turn on. we just moved into a house and the heater was working, but since we were not using the pool, i turned the heater off. it has been about 4 weeks since i turned it off... and now it wont turn on. I dont see any lights or any codes on the display. I even have the propane tank filled, but the heater will not turn on.

How old is the heater?
When was the last time it worked correctly?
Does the pool reach the set point? If not, how close does it get?How long will the heater run (hours)?
What model pump are you using?
The R5 is a sequence code in the boot up sequence where your error is occuring. There is nothing in the users manual for these pool heaters that explains this error. Your best bet, unfortunately, is going to be to call Sta Rite. Here is their customer service number: 1-800-831-7133
