I have had two batteries. Both have charged fully (green light) in 2-3 hours, but then only last for 2-4 hours.

I have the same problem. My Insignia won't recharge. I am certain the battery likely needs replaced. Is there a replacement battery avaailable for purchase.

If you watch movies or have the screen on with a photo or slide show, it'll use up more battery power than if you let the screen fade to black when listening to music. You can set this up in the Settings.

My insignia sport MP3 player froze so i turned it off and now it won't turn on, i tried to charge it thinking it was low baterry but it doesn't charge either

Hello,

I had the same problem. The reason is because you have not charged your player, in a while.

First of all, try this.

Reset the Insignia Pilot if it freezes during normal use. To reset the device, press and hold the "Power/Hold" switch to the right for approximately 10 seconds until the screen turns off. The "Power/Hold" switch is located on the top of the player.

If that does not work, you need to remove the battery and then put it back.

Here's how to do it.

Then plug your cable and wait until it comes back to life. Be patient, it may even take a couple of days, until a full charge is accomplished.

Good luck!

When I plug in my mp3 player it will not stay on

Sounds like your battery is SHOT. If using a Internal battery, let the computer charge it and just leave it alone for a FEW Hours. Possibly a full 24 hours. If that doesnt work try returning it. Or get a used one for parts to repair.

My palm pilot m515 wont turn on or charge

try turning it on while its on the charger .. if that works then you might need a new battery .. if it doesnt then do a "reset" ... unscrew the top off the stylus and use it to push the reset button on the back (top center) ... if that doesnt get it going then you can do a hard reset but that will erase all your information (like telephone numbers and such) ... you do a hard reset by holding down the on/off button while pushing the reset .. if it works on the charger but quits when on battery then you need a new battery ..

I pulled the battrery cover off and removed the battery. Leaved out for a couple of minutes then replaced and reversed the order. Then I turned it back on, and it still stays at the "Profiling media files" box. What should I do?
