Question about True T-49 Side by Side Refrigerator Commercial

T-49 Relay Aloha. I am looking for a relay for a True refridgerator that the inscription under the relay cover reads: MODEL T-49 TM-52, TS-49 T-35, TS-35 W/ Danfoss Control / Relay White I just got assigned to teach a food service class at the high school and the refridgerator for the class is broken, so I took the plate off of the wiring cover behind the front vent and noticed the relay was burnt out. I identified the part that was burnt out by the diagram on the back of the plate. It has four wires going to it (2 black, pink and white). Where do I find one of these? What is correct temp setting fpr t-49 true refrigerator

35 to 37 F. Put a thermometer inside and give it time like 2-3 cycles between adjustments before you believe the temp is stable. Hope this helps and good luck.

T-49 warm in the morniing, but then works fine all day

Sounds like you are letting the refrigerator sit in an unheated space at night. Those refrigerators have minimum temperature ratings as well as maximum temps. True Mfg. Can be more specific but I say not under 60deg F. Good luck hope this helps.

I have Kenmore 52542101 refridgerator the is not cooling. I've cleaned the coils. Pulled the carboard panel off the back. The fan is running, the compressor is hot. The compressor click. The tubi

Sounds like a start relay, start/run capacitor or worn out compressor. Let's test the compressor electricall first. Unplug the refrigerator and remove the back panel that covers the compressor. There should be 3 wires going inside the cover of the compressor. Mark all 3 and mark their location so if compressor is OK you can put them back in same order. The plastic cover may snap on and you may need to squeeze the sides to unlock the cover and sometimes there is a metal clip holding the cover in place. Remove the cover. May look hard but it's simple. There will be three connections under the cover and 2 will go through the start relay. Unplug them leaving the three prongs exposed. They may be marked R =Run, S=Start and C=Common. Set your meter on continuity and then begin by testing 2 at a time until you have checked S to R and R to C an C to S and S to R again. You should get a reading all the way around. If no reading between any of the pairs as you go around you should get no reading between any two the compressor has an open winding and is defective. Then if it passes that test then touch one probe to R and the other to the copper pipes or clean metal on outside of compressor, then S to metal outside and C to metal outside. If you get a reading this way even just a little. The compressor is a burnout. Then let me know what you find. Thanks, Sea Breeze

Oil leaking from fan...True TS-49. Fan stopped...got fan going by spinning it. but frig is not sealing.

It sounds like you need a new fan motor. Is it the fan inside the refrigerator compartment or the very bottom of the unit? And what do you mean by not sealing? Let me know. I can order the parts for you.

Whirlpool #BD25TEXHW00 quit working. Comressor not coming on.

Start relays are found sometimes under the cover where wiring enters compressor. And sometimes are attached outside of the compressor. A three in one designed for your size refrigerator would do the same thing and give all that is needed to start and run the compressor. You can find three in ones at most heating and cooling suppliers. I tried to look your model number up but something is wrong with the number listed above you posting.
Thanks, Sea Breeze

Refridgerator does not cool

It has a bad relay on the compressor. Looks like your model is a 50552 Kenmore. If so the part # you need is a 8201799 (start device) cost is $45.96 and you can get it at http://www3.sears.com/ or any local appliance parts house. It is # 16 on this diagram http://www3.sears.com/imaging/ImagePageJava.shtml?productTypeID=0165000&brandID=0582&modelDesc=SIDE-BY-SIDE%20REFRIGERATOR&modelNumber=10650552000&documentID=P0070128&documentTypeID=PLDM&documentClassCode=PM&titleType=UNIT&titleID=00011&
