only acer can tell you the password and it requires you to call them and usually send away the laptop to get it fixed. im sorry

firrs you must sett your bios for winxp installation, after that you can install win xp

the best thing to reset the cmos password of anything is to remove the cmos battery,

but in case of latop you will have to open it,,which is a touch job,,

so you can do it by opening your laptop and removing the cmos supply for 1 minute..

dont try any crack tools of bios,,the may damage it permanently..
