This sounds like a hardware related problem. There is arching on the connection to the speaker. If your using external speakers, make sure the jacks are ok. if it is an internal speakers try using a add-on audio card.

How to back up d630 BIOS to CD

The BIOS is stored on a ship inside your computer and cannot be downloaded and copied over to something else. Please keep in mind that your BIOS is what boots up your computer and your OS is usually Windows. BIOS cannot be backed up but your OS can.

If you wish to backup your OS there are many ways to do that. If you have windows 7, 8, or 8.1 Windows already has a built in backup program that you can run. If you are on Windows XP or Vista then you will have to download and run your own backup software.

Casper is a good backup solution for XP http://www.fssdev.com/products/casperxp/

I changed my operating system password and forgot it, i have windows xp dell latitude D 630

try logging in as Administrator or Admin with no password. Lots of times people leave this blank. If you do not have any password then you will need a boot disk to unlock it.

Is it possible to install windows 2003 server and windows xp on studio 15 laptops?

yes, how ever you must format them install windows 2003 server first on its own partion on the hard drive, and then install windows xp in its own hard drive.

how ever,, each OS has its own operating system, and depending on what your planning to actually do with them may determine how well thier gonan work. Example if your just gonna use them for class room exercises so your students can learn and manage a lan website on their computers then it might be ok. if you wanna host actually websites, then your gonna run into a lot of issues especially with space.

your avg dell studio specs

these are all well above what you would need to run the OS.

Which intel motherboard ( model detatil) is suitable for an intel dual core 2.6 Ghz processor?also what should be the capacity of ram that may suitably mathe the intel dual core 2.6 Ghz processor?

Assuming the CPU you have is an E5300 2.6 duo 45nm then use an LGA 775 mobo.

For Win XP / Vista run at LEAST 2gb (Preferably 4GB) Ensure the mobo specs are compatible with the type of ram also.

INTEL PENTIUM DUAL CORE

I can't find any info on the mobo. So this is going to be your best bet.

If you download Belarc Advisor from http://www.belarc.com/ it will give you info on your computer and, more importantly, your motherboard. It should tell you what CPUs it supports. If it doesn't, then you need everst ultimate: http://www.lavalys.com/ which is a pay for product.

Make sure the audio device is enabled in the device manager, if it is try using the device manager to resolve your sound problem's by updating the driver, or it may be a conlficting issue with the driver, the device manager should show if the device is wroking properly, if it is'nt try using the troubleshooting tab to resolve the problem, it could be configured wrong, or you may need to do a window's update, if you think it's a compatibilty issue here's a link where you can check to see if it's compatible with xp, http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/hcl/default.mspx

1333 FSB processor ( E6850 ) on a 1066 FSB motherboard, DDR2 667 memory

Hi proenza. you're making good sence! You're D945GCL MB should be able to run 1066 FSB. Not 100% sure you're memory will keep FSB up to 1066.
Here's the trouble though. The Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 will not run on the Intel D945GCL motherboard because it is not supported. Look here at Intel's web site. Supported CPU's.
http://processormatch.intel.com/CompDB/SearchResult.aspx?Boardname=d945gcl

Intel E6850 specs sheet. http://www.dealtime.com/xPF-Intel-Intel-Core-2-Duo-E6850-Processor-3-0GHz-4MB-Cache-1333MHz-FSB-Conroe-Dual-Core-OEM-Socket-77

Intel E6700 spec sheet. http://www.dealtime.com/xPF-Intel-Core-2-Duo-E6700-2-67Ghz

This CPU is supported by the D945GCL MB.

Intel Core 2 Duo E4700 Processor BX80557E4700 - 2.60GHz.

In order to get 1066MHz (CPU can run at), you'll also need the memory support at 800MHz. The D945GCL MB can only run DDR2-667MHz.
Many people buy a CPU to run MB's specs (1333MHz) just to find the same MB does not support DDR2-1066MHz or DDR2-800MHz. Motherboard Mfg's are lagging. DDR3-1333MHz is out there now to support the 1333 MHz CPU FSB.

I hope this has helped you make a decision proenza.

Good Luck!

Mike
