Sounds like the control panel is going and needs to be replaced. Check for any thermal fuses and replace them first (usually located inside the back panel) Otherwise, the control panel will need to be replaced.

Please try to plug the unit in different power unit if the problem occurs then its problem with oven ..

Fuse/circuit breaker Check to see if power is getting to the range/oven. Does anything turn on--even a light? If not, check for a blown fuse or tripped circuit breaker.

Main wiring Often the main wiring connection from the house, at the range/oven, gets burned and so breaks the connection. Then you may have to replace the power cord to the range/oven, and the terminal block that the wire is attached to.

Range/oven wiring There may be a broken or burned wire at the back of the range/oven. If you repair any of the wires, use only proper appliance-grade wire and wire connectors.

F20 error code on Frigidare electric range

Hello rjshomesnj - Typically error code E20 indicates that the range has detected a communication failure between EOC (electronic oven control) and ESEC system (electronic service element control). In other words, the range has an issue with the switch for the burner. I will personally recommend contacting a certified technician to move forward accurately and to assist with the repairs. You can often locate qualified servicers by visiting the manufacturer website.

Where is the control board plug on frigidare stove

Hello meikle1961 - Do you have exact model number to the unit? Are you speaking about a gas or electric range? Reason I ask is because depending on the model number, there are various controls on some ranges. With this information I can assist you better in pinpointing you the part location.

Bottom burner won't heat up

shut the breaker off to the unit. if the bottom burner is exposed remove the screws at the back of the burner and ease the burner out. there will be a wire connected to each side of the burner. remove both of the wires and test the connections of the buner for resistance with an ohm meter if open you need a new burner if not it could be a control. this is assuming your range is electric not gas

Frigidare FEFL79GSA burner stays on all the time even when you turn the knob to off,it still stays glowing on high.

you will need to replace the control for that burner, this is a very easy fix, locate the make, model and S/N for this unit order the correct control, turn off power or unplug unit , when you open up the unit where the control is watch what you are doing cause there are many wires here the way i do the wire change is to pull off one wire at a time putting the wire on the new control then when all wires are change over replace the switch

Frigidare range glgf376dsm display not working

That's common for the burners to work since they & ignightors have nothing to do with the control board. The oven light is also run by the control board. Before replacing the control board, make sure you have both phases of the power coming in. One 1/2 of the 220 operates the burners and the other phase is the power to the controller. The controller then put both phases on the heating elements. There should be a tech sheet and schematic on the back of the stove or under the hood where the controller is. Good luck

Whirlpool electric range burner power light stays on but no heat

Hello givemeanidth.
Welcome to Fixya

You said, have a Whirlpool electric range (model rf363pxpt0) with standalone burners - the burner power indicator light stays lit whether the heat control knob is on or off, there is no heat coming from the burner on or off. You pulled the burner from the receptacle and one of the tabs broke off and stayed in the receptacle. You removed the tab and made sure no pieces remained in the receptacle then bought a replacement burner, no change. You put the replacement burner in the back burner of the same size and had heat within 10 seconds. You changed out the burner with the one that had been in the back of the range, no heat. As long as the breaker to the range is on the power light stays lit but no power to that one burner only.

What is the model number and the age of your range?

Waiting for your reply.
