Have you tried to reset the camera. There is a reset option in the manual that may help.

The spring inside may not be sensitive. Try not to break open as you do not want to break teh mechanical arm and try to push the tray gently in the "spring". The tape will come out eventually

My sony dvd player model DVP C-6700 showing on the screen E2700 what does it mean?

This means the tray is stuck, a cd may have fallen out of the tray and inside the case, if the dvd player is no longer under warranty you may want to open it yourself and check for this.

How do I get Handycam DCR-DVD305 to recod videos onto a memory stick duo pro?

It is not possible to record the videos onto a Memory Stick Duo or Pro Duo, as this Camcorder DCRDVD305 does not support video recording onto the Memory Stick.
To record the videos you may use 8cm DVD-R/DVD-RW/DVD+RW.

I want to connect my DCR-DVD205 to my imac

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't this a DVD camcoder, as in records directly to 3" DVD's?

If so, just put your mini DVD into the tray as you would a normal DVD. There is a smaller inner ring on the dvd tray made for 3" discs to sit in.

From there you can edit it directly from the DVD to the computer, and burn it back out onto a normal blank DVD.

Hope that all makes sense =)
