Question about Computers & Internet
The lens on the laser is dusty. You need to pull the drive. Leave the tray open when you remove it. open up the case of the drive. find the tiny lens over the laser and very gently dust off the lens with a Q-tip. Re assemble and install the drive. If it still does not work you need to replace the drive. If you only burn cd's I have a working CD burner you can have free. Geokohler@gmail.com
