You don't have to buy a new phone. The LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) is broken. All you have to do is bring it to a repair shop and have it replaced.

There might be a damage on the LCD scree of your phone already. The best thing that you can do is to bring your phone to the nearest service center and let them fixed it. It is delicate on your part to change the LCD screen on your own as it requires an expert to fix that. LCD screen migt be costly. But, it will fix your phones proble.

My screen of my phone is black. You cant see anything but when I apply pressure with my thumb on the screen and continuing to hold it it lights up, Whats wrong? How to get it fixed.

Like other LCD screens, your phone's screen has a little backlight. If that light goes out, the display keeps working but you just can't see it. There's a broken connection somewhere in the circuit providing the power to that light. Often this kind of trouble shows up if the phone's been dropped or something heavy has landed on it. When you press on the display, it restores that connection and the light comes back on. Finding that bad connection might be difficult because of how this equipment is made; it's usually not as simple as an obvious broken wire. Special tools are often needed just to open the phone, and other equipment for troubleshooting and repair.

Unfortunately, this isn't something you're likely to be able to repair yourself. You might try taking the phone to your service provider or an authorized agent. They may have a repair service or offer a flat-rate exchange price. Call them to see what options you have. You might even find the phone is covered by some kind of insurance. If this is a pay-as-you-go type of phone, like a TracFone, you can purchase a replacement, then activate it in place of the damaged one. Contact the company by phone or check their website for options.

I hope this has helped. If so, please take a moment to give a thoughtful rating. Thanks for using Fixya!

Dropped my phone and it wont turn on.

Your Phone is physically damaged.

Most likely, the mainboard is cracked, not to mention other components may be as well.

What you need to do is to call your service provider and order a new one.
If there is no evidence of "Physical Damage", then it is defective and they will replace it free of charge (they may charge you shipping), as long as it's still under warrantee/you have device insurance through your service provider (usually about $5 per mo.).

Or, if they (your service provider) will not replace it, they may offer you a credit toward another phone/device.

If it is "physically damaged" You will have to buy a new phone most likely.

Same problem here. No buttons on the phone work

You have a stuck button.

I would look at the button that the set is calling.
You may have that person as speed dial on the set.

The screen on my razor is now black and wont work. i can make calls from the speed dials i remember but i cant see anything on the screen

The LCD screen is bad bring it in to your local provider's store and you can get it replaced though it may cost some money if the phone is no longer under warranty. There is nothing else you can do.
