According to the Toshiba manual, the second memory slot is located underneath the keyboard. Toshiba reccomends having authorized technician install to this slot.

Not all laptops have spots for two sticks of ram. Double check the specs but the slots should have been in the same spot.

Hello,

The ialmnt5.sys file is a driver file for video cards. The best solution in this case is to reinstall the video driver.

Go to the manufacturer's support website to download the latest drivers for your device.

Here is the link for your laptop drivers : Satellite M55-S135 drivers.

Make sure to select the correct OS version to get compatible and working drivers.

Hope this helps.

Normal 0 Go to my computer – (right click)
Click – Properties – Hardware – Device Manager
Click at + sign box in front of each device.
If you’ll get a yellow question mark that means that the driver is missing.
Take notes for the missing drivers to avoid duplicates.

How can chang my vga card for m55-s135

Unfortunately your video card on the M55 is part of the motherboard itself...it is an integrated chip. You would have to take it to a repair shop that has the machine capable of desoldering all the connections and resoldering a new graphics chip to the board. Buying a new motherboard may end up cheaper in the long run, but I have seen repair adds on EBay from companies that specialize in these types of repairs. Give it a look and see what you think.

My toshiba satellite M55-S135 is showing a blue screen with "physical memory dump complete" & to contact tech support. Basically, wanted to ask if my laptop is crashed...

Hi:
Crashed is a generic term, and the physical memory dump error is a windows based error that could be a bad memory stick, or a corruption in windows. If you have 2 sticks of memory in your laptop, a cheap and easy way to troubleshoot this would be to remove one stick, then the other,to see if one stick removed stops the crash. If it does, then you have solved the problem, and if it doesnt' then you have a corrupt software issue.

Hope you get a cheap fix!

Were is the memory card slot.?

I don't believe that they have made it a standard for all toshibas to have the memory card slot, but there is usually an empty area that does this.
