When you connect your player to the computer and you copied the music files from your computer to your player. You can also select the music files on your player by right clicking on the music file and then click on Delete.

Deleting music sony nwz-s616f mp3 player

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. When the player is connected to your computer you can add and delete the music files. You can download mp3 music files from the Internet to your computer and then copy them to your MP3 player using the USB cable. For your CD collection, you need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto your computer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3 player after you have connected the USB cable to the MP3 player and the computer. You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player will create a MP3 music file for each music track. How to delete songs???

There are two ways you can add songs to this player. The trick is you can only remove them again by the same method, and there could theoretically be songs added by both methods on the player. Two different USB modes. Read up on it.

Vista Downloads V Media Player

You cant delete the music files or move them from their original location as media player just provides an easier link to them.

Media player only arranges the music within media player so its easier to find, its kind of short cut. It reads the music from its original location and doesnt actually copy or move any of the files.

So if you have deleted the music then I'm afraid its gone unless its still in your recycle bin.

Downloading music

First, install the software if any that came with your mp3 player and connect your mp3 player. If you want to add music to your mp3 player you can sync with your media player or copy and paste songs from my music folder to your mp3 player that's under my computer. To delete songs or files just go to my computer, click on your device and you will see your files, just click on any ones and press delete on your keyboard. To download music for your mp3 player, you will have to pay for songs at most places like itunes. There is one site that is called LimeWire, just go to www.limewire.com, download and install the software. Let me WARN YOU, that limewire is ILLEGAL and there is stiff penalties if you get caught.

hope this helps you out a little.

Dleting unwanted music

If you haven't downloaded any music yet, go to settings, system, erase all, and select yes. If you have downloaded other music onto your mp3 player, go to settings, USB mode, media manager, and I believe there's some way to delete it individually that way. Though I haven't tried it yet.

There's always using your computer, go to my computer, select the insignia media drive, look for your music files and delete the music you don't want.
