Laptop keyboard replacement procedures are all similar,

What you really need is the maintenance & service manual, but there doesn't seem to be one. You might try contacting Gateway support and asking.

the problem may be of the sticky keys or of the keyboard. no else problem is seen in the keyboard.. so, if sticky keys are enabled, disable it from the accessibility options in control panel else change the keyboard !
Sounds like you have turned on the NUM LOCK on the laptop keyboard. If
you look closely you will see the numbers on those keys (maybe in a
different colour).
You need to turn off NUM LOCK again. On the
laptop I'm looking at, this is done by pressing Fn and END together,
but the key should be marked with NUM LOCK as well.
your keyboard is in other language. you just go to the note pad and check all the keys with shift and without shift key... if not appers then copy the ? mark and past it where u want...??????????????
Hi,
did you check your keyboard settings yet? At Control Panel --> Keyboard - there you can adjust the keyboard delay. That could be the problem. Give it a try and let me know.
