Question about Heating & Cooling
I have the same problem with my Goodman compressor. I removed the relay so the wires that control the relay on the compressor are open circuit. They are, and the fuse no longer blows. There must be something wrong with the relay. The resistance on the 24 volt coil seems a little low, but it is not a dead short. I thought the wires might be shorted, but removing the relay would not have fixed the blowing fuse if that was the problem.
