I erased all content and settings on my jailbroken iphone 3g and now its stuck on the start up screen

Plug the iphone into your computer and restore the phone using itunes. If the computer won't recognize the phone put it in DFU mode by doing the following.
1. Hold the lock/unlock button for 10 seconds. 2. Continue holding the lock/unlock button and also hold the home button for 10 seconds. 3. Release the lock/unlock button and continue holding the home button for 10 seconds.
After the connect to itunes screen appears on the phone, plug it in and attempt to restore again.

I locked my iphone 4 couid not recall the code how to open it

To restore, you need to enter recovery mode, connect the phone to the pc and press and hold the Power button and the Home button simultaneously. After about 15 sec phone will appear to turn off, release the Power button but keep holding the Home button. After about 15 sec the computer and iTunes will detect the phone in recovery mode, and then you can perform a restore.
I hope this helps, Dan

Restoring help

Call your service provider and they will walk you through it. No on the loss of everything. Look through your phone settings menu and look for network settings and change as needed.
It's set to web access or she just put the connect to itunes screen desktop. Try changing the desktop scheme. good luck

My iphone won't sync with itunes. it did at first but now keeps coming up with an error I have an original iphone, never been jailbroken or any such thing, and can not currently get it to sync with itunes...

Recharge
Make sure iPhone is charged. Connect to a USB port and look for the lightning bolt battery icon in the upper right. If you don't see this icon, then iPhone is not charging. The battery will charge to 80% in an hour.
Note: If you put your computer into sleep mode while iPhone is connected via USB, iPhone may not charge.

This screen means to keep iPhone connected so it continues charging. Please note:
If iPhone is not sufficiently charged it will not show up in iTunes
Use a high-power USB port such as the one on your computer, or use your iPhone AC adapter.
Don't use the USB port on your keyboard because it is a low-power port and iPhone will not charge.
Make sure you are using USB to charge. Accessories that use FireWire to charge are not supported with iPhone.
If you see the red part of the battery image flash three times and then the screen goes black, it means that iPhone is not receiving power to charge.

If the above steps dont resolve follow the following steps :
Retry with a different USB port.
Note:
Don't use the USB port on your keyboard because it is a low-power port and iPhone will not charge.

If the above steps dont resolve follow the following steps :
Restart

Try restarting iPhone. To turn it off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider to turn off iPhone. To turn iPhone on, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.

Does iPhone appear frozen or stuck? Try pressing and holding the Home button for at least 6 seconds to close a frozen application. Then try restarting iPhone again.

Note: If that doesn't work, try restarting your computer.
If the above steps dont resolve follow the following steps :
Reinstall

Reinstall iTunes 7.7 or later.
Get the latest version of iTunes (7.3 or later) from http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

Thanks.

This accessory is not made to work with iPhone. would you like to turn on airplane mode to reduce audio interference? You will not be able to make or recieve calls. ...

This message appears even though there is nothing plugged into the iphone port. It is caused by a short in the iphone dock/port for charging and synching. This may be a manufactur defect or could have been caused by moisture or humidity. Chances are you will need to replace the iphone port. If you have soldering experience, you can order the part online, and make the repair yourself. The cost of the specific part is $10 to $23. Good luck!
