I WAS WONDERING HOW TO USE THE PITCH CONTROL ON THE CD PLAYER

I would try simply unplugging the unit from the wall power and leaving it unplugged for about 30 seconds and then replugging the player back in and turning it back on.

Take it in to have repaired,

Make sure that the "Pitch" button is turned on (LED is lit) before trying to change the pitch. If it is, make sure that it's not disabled in the settings.

There is a fine adjust on the pitch control circuit board, however if it is staying at Zero at the extremes then it's time for a new pitch control :(

Try putting a little CRC226 in the pitch control. You can get it at HomeDepot in the electrical dept. Make sure to use ONLY that product as there are other CRC products there as well. The pitch variation may be due to a worn or noisy pitch control... this may fix it by using the spout and putting a little into the slot of the control. Other than that, the unit will need servicing.

The pitch faders do fail but usually they just become erratic rather than give up completely.
I think the most likley problem is a crack on the pitch circuit board or problems caused but liquid spilt into the pitch fader.

Your pitch control is faulty or dry. Try spraying wd 40 into the pitch sliding hole form top to bottom. Dont over spray it. Just a bit from top to bottom will do. If issue still persists, then there's some capacitors are weak which controls this pitch.

i take it u know to press key when changing the tempo? if u press key it changes the tempo but keeps the pitch the same. i keep that on all the time. if i want to change the pick i hold key and press either + or -
