I have the Samsung washer model WF419AAW/XAA. My problem is that when the washer spins occasionally the silver drum rim hits the glass on the door. That has resulted in a scratched glass door. I am afraid if this continues the glass will break. It does not seem right that the silver rim moves so much that it hits the glass on the door. Your comments and suggestions. Thank you.

You should make sure that everything is screwed in tight. Just because you bought it new does not mean it did not come with out any basic defects. Fortunately the glass used on Washer doors is tempered and can withstand quite a beating without actually breaking. If you find that everything is screwed and sealed properly and the problem still persists make sure that the washer is level. If it sits on an uneven surface this can throw off the balance of the spin cycle and cause it to wobble off balance. If you have done that and it still persists its time to call the manufacturer and talk about a refund. As far as the scratched glass there are plenty of companies out there that can buff the scratches gone and clear again, here is a company to help you start your search scratched glass repair company.

The inside glass on my GE Model # GFW450SSM1WW Serial AR203595T shattered. Is this common and what's the correct replacement part #

Most of the time, the washer door glass only breaks after being hit by hard objects in the laundry. (Sometimes repeated hits do it.) This includes belt buckles or coins. Remember the spin cycle will transfer momentum to the items in the washer. These items will not slow down as quickly as the drum. Then they can bounce off the wall into the glass before they lose that momentum.

The current part number for the glass is WH46X10286; there are plenty of vendors with the window available. See https://www.searspartsdirect.com/product/5id43b2toa-0026-363/id-wh46x10242 for the original part number. (Most manufacturers will change the part number at intervals without changing the part's mounting arrangement. Thus it works with your machine.)

I hope this helps.

My front loading samsung washer doesn't run through the drain and spin cycle

Hi, there is a pressure switch which is connected to the outer drum via a length of tube, this tells the machine whether there is water in the drum or not, this can also get blocked which fools the machine into sensing there is still water in the drum when there isn't, remove and unblock this tube and this should fix your problem, because the machine won't allow the normal program to go into spin if it thinks there is still water in the drum.

I have a Samsung front loader washer wf419aaw/xaa. 2 days ago it started making a loud knocking sound during the spin cycle. The drum also feels loose. I have researched every site I can find but still...

it is best if you engage the services of a technician. While it could be bearings ( I doubt it ) it is most likely something between the wash drum and the outer case that is hitting during spinning. something like a ( from hosier)y wire, bobby pin, button, coin

I need to fix my front load washer

drums don't get loose, their bearings wear out. if it is old most likely it is toast, if newer then may be worth repair

Samsung Dryer Model DV419AEW /XAA Dryer will not

I doubt its the main board. Try seeing if the drum is tight and seeing if the belt broke by spinning it by hand. If the drum is real sloppy and you can't feel motor tension, you need a belt. I would rule out the mainboard until last because the belt is like 89 cents.

Samsung washer wf218anb/xaa has code dc and wont spin clothes they are still wet

The DC error code is an unbalanced laundry error. Try putting less clothes in and if that doesn't fix the problem, then replace the hall sensor( located behind the drum, underneath the rotor).
