Hi it could workI found this I know your error not in here but it may work for It worth a try nothing to lose and it may work.I know your error code is not in this but it some times it clean the error with this type of error number you can gave it a go try not harm itError code: 0xc18a0201, 0xc18a0206, 0xc18a0306, 0xc18a030a, 0xd0620130, 0x887dd03a, 0xd05d010d, 0xf0af8004, 0xc19ac3ff, 0xc18a050...
Reset the product: 1.Without turning off the product, disconnect the USB cable from the rear of the product. 2.Remove the cartridges from the product. 3.Wait for the 'Insert Cartridges ' message to display on the control panel. 4.Disconnect the power cord from the back of the product. 5.Wait 60 seconds. 6.Reconnect the power cord. If the product does not automatically turn on, press the Power button ( ). 7.Reinsert the cartridges, and then close any open doors on the product. 8.If you receive a prompt to print a calibration page, do so. 9.Reconnect the USB cable to the rear of the product, and then try printing again. Display should say “Enter Special Key Combo” C. - Press and release in sequence the “1”, “2” and “3” buttons. 1.Press and release the right arrow button until the display says “System Configuration Menu”. (on C8100 use Touch Screen) 2.Press and release the “OK” button. 3.Display should say “Hardware failure status”. Once the initialization process is complete, the printer will print out a Diagnostic Page. 12.To verify printer functionality print a SELF TEST PAGE. If SELF TEST prints, then printer is ready for use or Software Installation. 13.If the error is still there, or reoccurs replace the unit.
1- Turn off power and unplug from power source. 2- Open right side of printer (looking at the front). 3- Disconnect,by pulling gently, both white flat ribbon cables off the main circuit board. 4- Plug in power source and turn printer on. Wait till you get a error message and push "Ok". 5- Unplug power source. 6- Reconnect the flat ribbon cables by aligning and carefully pushing into the conectors on the main circuit board. 7- Plug in power source and turn printer on.
I had the same problem for a few days.
Each time, I switched on my HP C5180 printer, the Oxc18a0107 message was displayed.
I tried the solution that I found on the net (power off, power on while holding on OK and HELP keys) unsuccessfully ...
Then I bought new ink cartridges and I put them after resetting the printer.
No more error message ... It works well now.
I now have 2 of these and both print ok but can not scan with either, never tried to till now. I have re- downloaded the driver from HP.com via Internet Explorer (usually use Mozilla Firefox) and i get 2 diff. error messages : network busy (impossible since it is connected via USB) and the 1 at my office connects wirelessly but error message is something to do with software. Thanks!
I have a error code that is 0xd05d010d I have tried reinstallin g drivers and software didnt work. tried unpluging power cable and holding ok and cancle buttons and plugging back in didnt work. now Im not sure what to do can you help please.
Here is the exact sequence for the C7180. It worked great for me:
This is easily fixed with the following key sequences. You do NOT have to open the printer and unplug a circuit board.
1) press * and # at the same time
2) press 1, 2, 3 and “support R0632M” should display
3) press > and “information menu” should display
4) press > and “configuration menu” should display
5) press OK and “hardware failure status” should display
6) press OK “failure status: clear”. Press OK to clear
7) press CANCEL
8) press CANCEL
9) press CANCEL
10) turn printer off, unplug power cord for 2 minutes, plug cord back in then turn printer back on.
NOTE: I did this and the fist time the error came back. Do the sequence again (as I did) and the error will be replaced with the usual print cartridge initialization screens. Print a test page to make sure.
