My pens don't seem to be working properly. The batteries have been changed and the board has been calibrated several times. When I write with the pens, things appear that I didn't write. I can hold the pen away from the board and move the mouse around. The other teacher in my same grade is having the exact same problem and the problem started the same time. We can use it from the laptop but can't interact with it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I wold have to say that it is "the pen". The original interactive pens we received would do some crazy things - like they had a mind of their own. I wish I could recall the serial numbers but Epson did replace them for us.

No Calibration for Wacom Pen

Sounds like your pen has problems, after so many attempts to calibrate the pen fail your tablet will automatically shut that feature off. I would suggest getting a new pen if possible and recalibrate it. The wire or fiber optic cable, which ever it has is bad to break where it bends down into the pen. Also the sensor in the end of the pen could have gone bad. I would contact the manafacturer on it and see what their tech's advise.

Wacom cintiq 12wx calibration

I had a similar issue using the 12wx with a 15" MacbookPro Retina. Screen displayed the desktop way too much to the left. I found that the refresh rate of 59.8 hertz seemed to not be compatible despite it automatically being set. After changing this to 74.9 Hertz, the desktop is now properly centered on the Wacom screen and can be calibrated now. Not sure if this applies to Windows machines but perhaps something to keep in mind.

DCS T70 LCD does work properly .I mean to say if i try to use one function another function gets started instead of desired function

Hi,

Based on the information you've provided, it seems that the touch screen panel is not aligned. You can try Calibrating the touch screen to resolve the issue.
Calibration option is in the Main Settings 1 Menu of the Camera. Calibration option enables you to perform calibration when the touch panel buttons do not react at the appropriate points where you touch. You can use the paint pen, touch the X mark displayed on the screen. The X mark moves on the screen. Once the calibration option is finished successfully, the touch screen should work.
The Calibration option can be done only if the Menu is accessible.
You can also perform a power reset before performing the Calibration.

Performing a manual power reset

Turn off the camera.

Remove the battery pack.

Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.

Allow the camera to remain without power for 60 seconds.

Reinsert the battery pack.

Turn on the camera.
This should resolve the issue.

Thanks for using Fixya.

How to calibrate the pen on a ingenico debit and credit

I've done this several times, but it's been a while, so it won't be exact. Hit all the corner buttons except the bottom left, all at once to reboot the machine. Then hit the green button to get in to setup. Then arrow down to the More options and hit enter. Scroll down to pen calibration and follow the prompts. We actually threw out all our pens, and do a finger calibration. It save time at check out, them not having to mess with the pen. Hope I was close. You should be able to figure it out from what I've told you.

Leapster2 comes on but won't allow me to sign on. The pen does not respond to the pen

Turn leapster2 off. Press and hold question mark button, then turn on leapster2. Keep holding the question mark button until you get a screen that says "touch calibration" on the right. Once you get this screen, let go of question mark button. Press the "A" button to select touch calibration. A small "+" will appear in one corner -- touch it with the pen. Repeat this for all four corners and then the middle. You have re-calibrated the pen. You can then turn the leapster2 off and then on again to play.

If you have tried this and the pen still doesn't work, change the batteries and repeat steps above.

Try putting a new battery in it. Mine was having the same sort of problems, and they were pretty much entirely fixed by a new battery.

The Pen

I'm not familiar with your laptop but judging from all the pdas I've had with touch screens the pen itself is only a pen, you could basicly use a wooden stick to poke at the screen and it shouldn't make a difference to the computer.

this laptop has a touchscreen If I'm not mistaken and you should be able to use it even with your fingers.

You might have a faulty touchscreen or then you need to install a driver for the screen?

Question Why doesn;t my Leapster2 respond to the stylus pen? trnsp.gif Answer If your Leapster2 does not respond to the stylus pen, it needs to be calibrated. Calibrating the Leapster2 is easy:
1) Ensure that a cartridge is not inserted 2) Hold down the Hint button while turning the unit on 3) When the LEAPSTER menu screen appears, press the A button 4) Touch each of the crosshairs that appear with the stylus 5) Restart unit
