Can's access email account

Hi,

The prompt you are receiving is called "Second sign-in verification," and it is designed to protect your account from unauthorized access. You can clear the prompt by having a verification code sent to your non-Yahoo! alternate email address or mobile number on file. If you don't have either of these options, you can contact the Account Security team by filling out the following Help form:

http://io.help.yahoo.com/contact/index?l...

Please submit a request on this issue by selecting Yahoo! Accounts as the product, suspicious activity as the category, and received security warning prompt as the subcategory.

Note: Be sure to completely fill out the help form so that the support team has all of the information necessary to assist you.

Thanks.

Hello

To how many recipients did you try to send your email? Chances are Yahoo Mail automatically suspected your account as a spammer account. You need to wait 24-48 before you can send messages again.

How long do I have to wait until I can send emails when my yahoo mail 'Suspicious Activity' timeout? I just set up an email account for a non-profit organization, and I am trying to send out a reminder to...

Hi, Jodi.

Unfortunately, there is no set time amount before YM releases an account from security lockdown.

It will wait anywhere from a few hours, to a few weeks, depending on the type of activity that was reported.
The more severe the problem, the longer they wait.

You can try sending an e-mail to yahoo support, and let them know what the problem is, they may release the account if you let them know what is going on.

I hope this helps you understand what is going on, and have a good day !

Hi! I keep getting this message when I try to

1. I think you are getting this message because some of the Yahoo! Mail users has declared your e-mails as "SPAM"!

2. Thats why you are not allowed to send any more mails to anybody!

3. You should contact the Yahoo! support for the solution of this problem!

Suspicious Activity on Yahoo Email Account

Most probably, someone is using your account to send spam mail.
First and foremost, CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD IMMEDIATELY. Use a strong password - with letters, numbers, symbols and long enough to make it difficult to guess. Also, notify Yahoo of the problem.
Still, it may take a while before Yahoo "white-lists" you again.
All the best.
