Please make sure that Power, Internet and Wireless Light (or LAN light if trying to connect with Ethernet cable) is there on router if you are trying to connect it wireless .
And if only Power light is there only. Please try to power cycle the router ( turn off the router from power supply wait for a minute, plug the power supply back) and then again check the light status.
Even after this if same light status is there please try to reset the router ( there will be small pinhole button on the back side of router) just press it for 15 seconds and then release it.Wait for 2 mins and check the light status again.
It will fix your problem.
Is this a new installation? Or did it just happen, and was working before? Are you using DSL service or cable or dial up? Not enough info....
If it was working before, and suddenly stopped, then first thing to do is unplug the router for 30 seconds or so, then plug it back in.
If it was working on the laptop and stopped working, then you need to find the connection icon in the system tray (next to the clock) and right click on it, choose REPAIR from the popup. Let it finish and try to connect again.
If new installation, did you follow directions to install and use?
Open your Internet Options, and "connect" to the network. Wizard will walk you through it.

DI-624 is a bit old and mine has failed from overheating on occasion. Check that it is not in direct sunlight. If it is hot to the touch, see if it works after cooling off a bit. I had a client who had no problems for five months, until spring. One day his wifi crapped out every time the sun came out and it took me forever to figure that one out.
First thing to do here is to reset the router, to reset it Press and hold the reset button for 15 seconds while the power is ON then fater that just again the setup of the router to your computer to reconfifgure it back and hopefully everything will be back to normal....
