F1 error in your whirlpool cabrio indicates bad
control and should be replaced to resolve the error code. However, you can
contact Whirlpool as well prior to replacing the control yourself as I have
seen whirlpool paying for the parts themselves just because this is known to be
a common issue. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.
Well error F1 means the central electrical control unit, i.e. the onboard computer, has fatally failed. First of all you may leave unplugging the washer from the wall, leave it unplugged for a while. That may reset the internal computer chip. If further you have the same problem then it need some part (chip) replacement need some skills of electronics, part is $150 CODE 083009 part W10189966 CNTRL-ELEC. Post comments for further help or information........... Good Luck!!
for using FixYa. Yes you are right you can call 1-800-253-1301 whirlpool will send a tech. to fix it
and pay for the part. Error F1 means primary control failure and to resolve
this you’ll have to replace the machine control assembly. Please
do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further
assistance. Thanks Rylee
The F50 error code indicates that the RPS (rotor position sensor) detects no motor rotation. Check to see if the basket spins freely. If not, you could have an item caught between the outer tub and the inner spin basket. A toy or other item underneath the washer could also prevent the basket from spinning and would result in this F50 code.
If the basket spins freely, you could have a wiring failure that would prevent the motor from spinning.

First off I hope you have a Sears unit and second you did not pay a penny. Your F 1 error is a Primary control failure. Part W10104830 and one other do F1 and a oL code.
If you own a Sears machine you qualify for a recall under sf26-779B.
There is two parts to this call the board and a washplate
MCU part # W10201186
Washplate # W10077050
Recall will need your name and phone number and the machine model and serial number.
If you meet all of these conditions to the letter call Sears Recall at 1-800-659-7026
some times well a lot of times if you call cust assistance and your that close to your warranty they will comp the call but if you didn't send in your warranty card and haven't had a service call then they don't know when you bought it be sure to get cust assistance and not cust service f 50 is the code for a stalled motor see if your basket spins freely
