Question about Kenmore Oasis HE 27082 Top Load Washer
When I do normal trobleshooting It brings me back a code of 68, I think this is the control unit W10201186 am I right or wrong.
Its the control board (F1, then 68) points to the machine/motor control unit (also called the ETC). i was unable to order W10201186, but was able to get W10189966 (rev A). the F1 code is gone, but its still not perfect (which may not be the control board's fault. still troubleshooting the dreaded HC & LF codes i constantly get).
if F1 keeps showing up when you power it up, then the board will have to be replaced.
if it stops running on the rinse cycle (mine did), i was still able to finish this cycle by doing this:
hit the stop button twice to get it to drain.
hit the power button.
select rinse & spin
deselect the 2nd rinse (on the right side so the light goes out)
it should get you (through the last rinse & spin), but keep in mind the dreaded F1 will finally kill the machine and render it inoperable. this is my last kenmore product.
