You may need to send it in for diagnostics. The engine light on is letting you know that the PCM has identified a fault. This requires the use of a scantool to read the stored codes within the PCM. Code readers usually help but a larger scantool tends to be more informative. It is normal to see the traction control and brake light warning lights turn on when the engine warning lamp illuminates. I would try disconnecting battery again. Disconnect both cables and touch them together for a few seconds. This will reset all modules. Wierd that you had so many codes after just disconnecting battery. Sometimes very hard to tell if ecm is bad.

do the computer self read.ignition on off on off on then the check eng. light flashes the codes.if the check eng. light doesnt come on at all then computer is not functioning, so no spark. check power fuse eng.compartment. need a manual for codes.

with new gen cars/trucks they show fault code in the form of a eng light on ! If the eng light is on there is a fault on diagnostics = eng management,air flow meter,feul pressure sensor,injectors etc.the trick is to find it ? workshops use a Diagnostic tool (Gen2) for Isuzu,mabe u could ask a alternative tool (launch master)also a diagnostic tool /most aftermarket workshops should be able to diagnose the problem. (this is also the reason your cruise control will not work because of the Eng Light.

yes, that is called a "check eng" light, this may have came on for many different reasons, low eng oil level, low eng. oil pressure, eng. may be misfireing, eng. may be overheating etc. many things can cause this. get hold of a diagnostic scanner and scan for codes. or take it to any shop. theyll scan for you

The computer on your vehicle detected a fault. When one of the sensors goes bad, the computer picks up on this and the light comes on

for blower motor check fuse hvac 20a int.panel and hvac 30a fuse in elect.center eng.compartment,if ok,check for 12v at blower connector if power is there fan is defect..temp.gauge check connection at unit if ok check resitance if it varies when engine warms up,if it doesnt vary replace unit,if it varies check wiring circuit,unit is place at drivers side of eng.block near sprk plugs.for hard to start;if check eng.light is not on could be in need of a tune-up depending on how long ago it was done,if check eng light is on or was on scan ecm for trouble code.

When your engine not starting or quits while you driving check to see any sparks, or remove the distributor and let the auto part test it. if it no sparks or the auto part say is bad , replace it.

The plug is located at the bottom of the steering column.The fault seems to be the mass air meter though.
