SOURCE: spinning cycle

Keeping in mind that the soap & bleach gets dispensed into your wash on the second to last rinse cycle and that most all rinse cycles are in cold water. Is your cold water valve screen plugged causing your washer to rinse poorly? Are you using the HE detergent? If not maybe the washer is sudsing up to much and having a hard time rinsing all the suds and bleach out and leaving the clothes soapy.

Fill the washer up with no clothes in it on a cold/cold wash setting does it take a long time to fill the washer up? Also when it is full and agitating is there suds in the washer?

Last suggestion is if the drain is hose is a lot higher than the top of the washer it might have a hard time draining out all of the soap water before the next load

Tip

Most overlooked dryer energy savingr problem ever!

First, you must know that a common clothes dryer is really a water pump. It pumps water outside by
heat convection. Just because its hot doesn't mean its drying clothes efficiently.
The tip here concerns the filter. If you think your filter is clean, look again. You may have cleaned
all lint from it but it probably is still ineffective and energy draining.
Do this. Place your filter under a trickle of water in the sink, after lint removal as you usually do.
The water, most likely, will not go through the filter. What happens is that water promotes scale and clogs
the filter. (well you've got water being dried by heat which leaves scale.) This scale (or stopped up filter)
can cause a great deal of extra running time, and a dryer uses a lot of energy. (Electricity)

Scrub the filter with a bristle brush and dishwashing liquid and then run water on the filter again.
You can see how much more the water runs freely through the dryer filter.
Dry the filter, and reinstall. It's so nice to save a great deal of electricity!
You can see how the wet air is not moving the water out of your clothes very efficiently and it also
can cause the dryer to overheat too much so that the thermal switch (or fuse) blows thus causing a
expensive service call. (Most won't even tell you about the scale clogged filter anyway) Because most
don't know it either.
Enjoy your savings!!!!

Gw712, clothes seem to be not spun properly and still fairly damp when the cycle is finished. they used to be fairly dry before

try cleaning your filter in washing machine,if this dosent fix problem, sounds like you need a water pump,i have had a front loader for 8 years now and had the same problem, with me finding the filter with alot of cloths lint, and other things it was stopping the water pump from pumping out water, try cleaning first and checking water outlet hose were water is pumed out might be blocked with a coin, these few steps before you spend money on water pump.
hope this helps you.

Bosch maxx 7 sensitive dryer wich stops everytime and shows that there is a problem with the reservoir

Technician just solved that annoying problem. My dryer is few months old and without pump, so condensed water is dripping to tank by gravity. During drying cloth is collected on filter and condenser, but some amount of cloth goes into pipes and canals on the bottom of dryer and clogged non-return valve where tank is inserted. Side panel ha has to be removed, canals and valve cleaned. To prevent problem technician suggested condenser and filter cleaning after every use. Valve can be removed from bottom without removing side panel.

Clothes still wet aftre drying cycle over

It sounds as if the wash cycle isn't terminated by pumping the rinse water out and spinning to rid the clothing of most of the water.
Most dryers sense moisture but I think they all will have a maximum run-time to prevent possible fires if the programmer fails to shut them down at the end of the drying cycle.
I would watch the machine and when it started the drying cycle, I would shut it off and check for surplus water that hadn't been pumped out as it should have been.

Need to clean the filter

http://homeappliance.manualsonline.com/manuals/mfg/vicks/v3100.html

This is the link to your manual.
Daily Maintenance
1.
Turn switch to OFF position and unplug the cord from wall outlet.
2. Lift the Water Tank from Base. Carefully remove the Water Tray from the base being
careful not to damage the delicate Wicking Filter. Empty excess water from the Water Tray
without removing the Wicking Filter. Remove the Tank Cap and drain any water from the
Water Tank. Rinse the Water Tank with lukewarm water after each use. Wipe accessible
surfaces of the Water Tank and Water Tray clean with a soft, damp cloth.
3. Do not immerse the Base in water. For storage, wipe dry with a soft, clean cloth. Keep
water away from the Air Outlet.
4. Do not leave water in the Water Tank or Water Tray when unit is not in use as it may
result in the build up of mineral deposits and bacteria that can inhibit the output
efficiency of the humidifier. Please note that if water remains in the Water Tank for more
than a day or two, bacterial growth is possible.
5. Replace Water Tray with Wicking Filter. Then replace the Tank. Humidifier is now ready for
use.
Weekly Maintenance
Removing Scale
1.
Remove the Water Tank and empty any remaining water from the Water Tank.
2. Turn switch to the ON position, either low or high speed, and operate Humidifier until the
Wicking Filter is thoroughly dry.
3. Turn switch to the OFF position and unplug the cord from wall outlet.
4. Remove Wicking Filter from the Water Tray by carefully lifting straight up taking care not to
tear filter.
5. Remove the Water Tray from the Base. Fill Water Tray with undiluted white vinegar. Let
stand for 20 minutes.
6. Dampen soft, clean cloth or sponge with undiluted white vinegar and wipe out Water Tray
to remove scale. Do not use soap, detergents or abrasive cleaners.
7. Rinse the Water Tray thoroughly in clean warm water or put in top shelf of dishwasher to
remove scale and vinegar before disinfecting the Water Tray.

Disinfecting the Water Tray and Tank
1.
Fill tank with 1 teaspoon of household bleach in 1 gallon of water. Let stand twenty (20)
minutes, shaking vigorously every few minutes, drain and rinse with clean water until the
bleach smell is gone. Dry with a clean cloth or paper towel.
2. Wipe the Water Tray with a soft cloth dampened in the bleach and water solution. Rinse
the Water Tray thoroughly or place in dishwasher before proceeding.
3. Wipe all exterior surfaces of the Base with a soft, dry cloth. Do not immerse the Base in
water or use water to clean the base. An electric shock may result or the humidifier may
be damaged.

Hope this helps.
Good Luck.
