Question about HP PSC 2210 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Ensure you are using original HP cartridges. Using refilled/generic inks can cause this problem.
If you are using original inks, try cleaning the contacts of the cartridges gently with isopropyl alcohol. Should it still fail, get them replaced.
The above solution was offered by IrishDruid, posted on Jun 01, 2008. I tried it (using alchohol swabs) it worked perfectly.

Printer wants to align cartridges & is a continual loop not fixing & not allowing anything else to be done.
