Question about Flat Panel Televisions

TV Installation at Home

When I pay/contract for a Geek Squad to come to my house to install my 52" TV, what should I have available? Will I need to pre-purchase a wall-mounting system, etc. since the TV does not have a "flat" bottom edge?
How long will it take (approximately) ?

We really cannot speak for the Geek Squad. You will need to look at the contract you sign with them to determine if they provide the bracket or require you to do it. most of the time you will need to purchase the wall mounting in addition to the tv.

How long it will take will depend on the professional. It should take less than 30 minutes.

Most likely the power supply board or the fuse. Insignia is really an LG TV. It is Best Buy's house brand. The Geek squad can fix it.

The best way to set up a TV such as yours without a calibration device is to get a high definition picture of someone's face on the screen and adjust the color, brightness and contrast until the face looks as life like as possible.

Won't turn on -- Is it worth a repair?

If the power light is still on sounds like inverter or ccfl fault no light could mean power supply, parts are available for lcds. Look up your nearest service center and get them to diagnose and quote.

New TV won't talk to satellite receiver

Greetings ChaosReid,

I would suggest calling your satellite company and seeing if they are able to give you any suggestions. Also you might consider contacting someone like the Geek Squad® and having them come out and do a video installation. That might prove costly though. I would think that your retailer should be able to provide some insight.

What type of connection are you using presently to hook it up?

Wishing for the best!
