There are a few possibilities. Only two of which you can correct.

First, blow some pressurized air into the remote control, especially around the channel up and down buttons.

Second, see if the channel changing stops when you remove the remote battery.

third, blow compressed air into the channel up and down buttons on the tv.

If you are still have the problem then you have an internal part to replace and we recommend you use our premium service for that.

Good luck.

I have 36in rca tv from 99 and my tv screen keeps blinking.

Might be a power supply/transformer problem. With the prices of TV's as low as they are today, it is probably more cost effective to replace rather than repair. I just recently bought a 40" HD flat screen with all the bells and whistles for $299. It would probably cost you close to that to repair your 15 year old unit. Food for thought.

Why is my Samsung DLP Television is making a static noice when turned on?

Hi, what do you mean by static noise. Is your station unclear. Does this only happen on the cable coax connection or is it a loud noise. If its a loud noise then its your colorwheel if its an unclear station or channel then more then likely its your main input board. Please let me know if that helps any.

No audio...only static

This is caused by a corrupted signal being sent out by one of the stations you are watching. There is definitely NO PERMANENT SOLUTION to this problem. Just keep unplugging the TV.

RCA MM52110 tv

I had a repairman out to look at mine today. He said it was the high voltage protecter kicking off the TV as soon as you turned it on. $400 to $600. to repair.

I love this TV but guess I'll go shopping for another plasma. I have one Plasma TV in the bedroom 50" Samsung (top of the line) it doesn't have as good of a picture as my old RCA.

Rca 52 inch rear projection

This is a problem common with some RCA/GE TV's. The fix in the past was to install a capacitor between ground and pin 15 of the microprocessor which keeps a data signal riding on the video stream from muting the sound on most stations. By installing this capacitor, you would be disabling the closed caption feature so that feature would no longer work. An authorized RCA TV repair shop may be able to give you more information.
