Ground, your video system may need to see the park brake signal on off on (or something similar) if so add a toggle switch inline with the ground wire.

Make sure you are using the Aux Video in, should be a yellow RCA and make sure the Boss is set to Aux video or ext video and make sure the power is on on the PS3
The Boss manual should tell you exactly which wire with RCA is for external video input such as rear video camera, PS3, etc.
It's because the pink wire (brake system) is not connected to anything. It is a safety feature to make sure that you are not watching the DVD while driving. I just installed my BV9990 today and had the same issue (before taking care of that pink wire).
