Go to settings, then press general, next go to the bottom and press reset, next press reset network settings, now you can try to get wi-fi by pressing wi-fi on the main screen. it worked for me i hope it works for you also.

best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

How do i connect my 8gb ipod touch to wifi

Hi Robert
Go to Settings. select Wifi Make sure it's set to 'ON' wait while the pod searches for transmitters. When it locates yours tap on its name. When it asks for the password type it in. Wait a moment while it gets an IP address and then the job is done.
Every once in a while though you will find that you just cannot connect - I don't know the answer to it - thankfully it doesn't happen very often.

My i pod will connect to wifi, but i cant connect to the wifi in my house

Is your wifi network secure in anyway? It sounds like you may have MAC filtering on. If so, you need to add your ipod's mac address to your list of allowed devices in your router's admin console.

Do you have to have a router to connect your ipod to internet

No you do not require a router to connect your I pod to the internet.

If you wish to load the songs on the I Pod, you can first look for songs on the internet and save them to your computer.
Then you can connect the I POD to the compuet via the USB cable which you would have received with the I pod.

Please connect the usb cable one end on the I pod and the other to the
the computer. The moment you connect the I POD to the computer, the system will detect the IPOD player. You can then save the copy of songs you have downladed on your I POD player.
You can select the sond saved on your compuet by doing a CTRL+C key and then go to MY COMPUTER> and under the drives section it will show your I POD PLAYER. CLICK ON THE PHILIPS PLAYER TO GO INSIDE SO THAT YOU CAN DO A CTRL+V and copy the songs on the I POD player.

That should do the trick and you shoudl be able to listen to your favourite songs on the move.

Please rate me if you are happy with the support provided.

Ipod Touch can't connect to WiFi

MY only solution was reset my i-pod touch, and after reset it's working very well my Wi-Fi.

To reset your i-pod touch just go to settings
you will find reset button.

Alternately, check your router to see if it actually sees the i-pod.

Try re-synching your i-pod.

Also try resetting your router with the i-pod off then after router resets turn i-pod back on. Should find then..

Hope this helps.
