The only way is to send it back to Garmin. They will not sell the part. I just folded a piece of aluminum foil and poked a hole in it and unscrewed the contact, placed the foil under the contact, screwed the contact back down and then folded the aluminum down so the battery end could contact it. .

My Tomtom 300 Go won't charge?

It appears that the battery will not hold a (good) charge anymore. If it is still under warranty, contact TomTom to address that problem. They may replace the unit for you.
It is not unusual for (rechargeable) batteries to loose it's capability to hold a good charge if it is plugged in (to a power source) all the time, even while it is not in use.

Where you plug in to charge is broke

Hi.

If you broke the lighter socket on car dash, replace it.

If you broke the cable replace the cable. Here the spare:Garmin Power Cables

If you instead damaged the power socket on your Garmin, call the Garmin number listed in the owners manual. The Sat Nav must be sent to Garmin for repair:Garmin ' Contact

Next time use a Suction Mount Windscreen Holder

Regards.

Window broke

Boken screens are a common problem, look into repairing it yourself, by purchasing another TomTom and swaping components, or disscuss with the seller. You might get lucky and save £££. Even its not repairable, the case, the screen , the battery and software +maps on the SD card, located at the bottom of the device, are still worth somthing to someone, somewhere on ebay

Garmin nuvi 200w screen keeps going off when select state

I would first connect the GPS to the computer and use the Webupdater program at Garmin.com to update all the software on the GPS. If that doesn't fix your problem you will need to contact Garmin. They have a program where they repair or replace GPS system for a flat fee. It seems to a very reasonalble price also.

Screen broke

Here are your options:

1. Contact Garmin to repair your unit.
2. Purchase a As-Is Nuvi 3xx on eBay with a working screen and repair yours.
3. Purchase a replacement screen on eBay and repair yours.
4. Purchase a new GPS.

Battery compartment connectors

I had this happen with my 76CS. The cost for a look at it is $125. I used a piece of aluminum foil.

Fold it over, make certain it holds tight against the wire.

It's not the best solution, but it works.

You could also search for a device with a similar battery contact, unsolder it, and pull the Garmin apart and solder it in. I'm still looking for the right device.
