This is usually caused by the power brick over-heating. Try cleaning out the vents on the power brick. There are little holes on the ends and overtime they become clogged with dust and lint. If that doesn't work then you'll have to replace the power brick.
xbox 360 and you mean the power brick is flashing yellow that means its broken you can try it with another xbox or buy a new one but first thy it in another outlet if you fix it by your self its hard to open its glued together and the problem can be many diffrent things
Check power brick . If red your power brick may be faulty . unplug all cables and check power brick again . If green light is on the power brick your good if its red you will want to contact ms at 1-80004myxbox or 1-800- 469 9206 .
Is the light on your power brick red, if so this is your problem, its overheating, if cooling it down does'nt work try another power brick.
If the power brick light is orange, but no power at all to the console, look into the usb ports on the front of the console, its easier if you remove the faceplate, make sure there is no damage or bent pins touching, this will short your console so it wont switch on.
Remember thumbs up if this works.
sometimes the brick will overheat...i had the same problem, and i put it in a better ventilated area, unplugged it for a few hours, and then i was good. it sucks so hard to have to wait several hours, though...i was so antsy!
